It is with a heavy heart that I write that a wonderful woman, Debrah Rafel, has passed away in Vancouver at the age of 47. She has been an amazing friend as well as my yoga teacher, coach and colleague over the years. I will miss her very, very much.My thoughts and love go out to Debrah's beautiful young daughters Ava and Marlowe, step-son Tyler and husband Don, as well as their family.

Oh my god! I'm so sorry to hear this news. I know how close the two of you were, and the impact she had on your life.

I too am sorry to hear of this news. It's hard to lose a friend.
I heard today when I ran into a mutual friend and was struck with disbelief and sadness. I can't believe she is gone. Debrah changed my life and I owe so much to her. She was an amazing women and the world feels different without her. My heart goes out to her family and especially the little girls. God bless.
